New SafeContractor Client Portal

An overview of the new functionality that SafeContractor clients can look forward to in the new portal.

Our technology and product teams have been working hard to improve the quality of our client’s SafeContractor experience. Following on from real customer feedback, we are making improvements to the client portal to give users a smoother supply chain management platform. We are excited to launch the new client portal this year. Currently, our internal technology and product teams, plus some of our existing clients are testing the initial phase of the client portal and giving us feedback on its features and functionality. Once this testing phase is complete, we will look to roll the new and improved portal out to each of our clients in the coming months. In the meantime, here’s a few previews of the new features we’re building…

Dashboard

The new dashboard interface creates a simplified and powerful view, of the current status of a client’s contractor list. The language and iconography within the new dashboard have been simplified to create a smoother user experience. Here, client users will be able to easily visualise their anchored contractor base and quickly see what percentage of their contractor base is accredited, SafePQQ verified, or presently in the audit process before making an informed decision about which contractor to choose for the job.

Reports

The new report functionality is an important upgrade from the existing client portal. For the first time client users will be able to manage the reports they want and whenever they need them. Each report can be scheduled to be automatically exported and clients will be able to access the content of the report through the portal.

The new search functionality provides clients with powerful and intuitive tools to search against their own or SafeContractor list of contractors. The search will provide clients with recommendations as they begin to type and will also recommend results based on the closest match to the search term. Client users will also be able to condense their list further by using a suite of powerful filters that are visually presented once activated and display results via a map. Location searches are now based on drive time data and rules that consider the size of the business and your selected trade coverage. This will provide a far more accurate representation of the contractor’s ability to perform the work. Upon locating a suitable contractor, you can use the checkbox mechanism to add this individual or several contractors to a contractor list or Sub-List.
