Guidance Note 24 – PPE Assessment

This Guidance Note includes an assessment template for determining which personal protective equipment (PPE) should be provided to your operatives. If you wish to use this template to construct your own documents, you must ensure that all references to Alcumus SafeContractor Accreditation have been removed and the final documents are clearly incorporated into your existing safety management system.

Please note that even though the Construction (Head Protection) Regulations 1989 have been revoked, there is still a legal requirement for you to provide operatives with hard hats should your risk assessment determine they are required.
