Your Dedicated SafeContractor Page

Weetabix

Weetabix have a duty of care to ensure that any contractor or contracting company that is sourced and procured is competent and suitably trained to carry out the work they have been procured for. This entails having suitable risk assessments and method statements in place as well as having public liability insurance and health and safety policies prior to attending site.

Weetabix have selected SafeContractor to be our accreditation entity and on our behalf they will perform these checks on potential and current contractors who will be working on our sites.

This is a Weetabix requirement.

Thank you.

Why SafeContractor?

Demonstrate to hundreds of organisations that you are a safe, stable and ethical business to work with.

Weetabix are seeking to continually improve and promote a safer, healthier supply chain and demonstrate how seriously we take health and safety throughout the business. By outsourcing the health and safety pre-qualification of our contractors to SafeContractor, we will be able to better manage our supply chain and improve our compliance with health and safety legislation. This will provide complete visibility and vital insights into our supply chain so we can make informed decisions around who we are working with including health and safety, quality, environment, modern slavery, anti-bribery, GDPR etc.

Weetabix will be able to use SafeContractor to manage existing contractors through an online portal, and source new contractors from the 33,000 approved members. This will help to bridge the gap between procurement and Health and Safety and ensure all contractors are working to a high standard.
