Step 1 - Log in
Visit the portal here and enter your log-in details.
If you have logged in successfully, skip to Step 6
If you have forgotten your password, click 'Forgotten Password' in the bottom right-hand corner of the login box.
Step 2 - Resetting your password
Enter your username and the email address registered with your SafeContractor membership.
Please note, only the primary email address listed on your SafeContractor account is valid here.
Click 'Send Reset Email'
Step 3 - Check your emails
Shortly after clicking the reset button, you will receive an email explaining what to do next.
Step 4 - Creating a new password
Once you have clicked the link in the email, your internet browser will go to the 'Password Reset' page.
Pick a new password and click 'Save'.
Step 5 - Login with your new password
You will now return to the original login screen. Please login with your new password.
Step 6 - Renewing your membership
Welcome to the new SafeContractor portal!
To pay for your membership select 'SafeContractor Renewal 2018' under the header 'Membership Subscriptions'
Step 7 - Upgrade your accreditation
At this step you have the opportunity to select a membership package.
The package closest to your previous year's membership will be preselected but this can be changed.
You can also boost your accreditation by selecting additional products, otherwise known as SafeContractor Plus.
Simply select the SafeContractor Plus products you're interested in to add them to your basket.
Deselect the products by clicking on each highlighted box.
Step 8 - Review your shopping basket
Your membership package selection can be reviewed in your shopping basket.
If you change your mind, click the 'Remove' box on the left-hand side of a line to remove the product.
Step 9 - Terms and conditions
A copy of our terms and conditions will appear on the screen.
You are required to tick the box at the bottom to confirm you understand them before proceeding to the next step.
Step 10 - Payment
There are two payment methods - BACS or card payment.
If you opt to pay by card, you will be directed to Worldpay's secure payment screen - jump to Step 11
If you opt to pay by BACS your membership will be renewed upon receipt of payment and you will see a message like the below
Step 11 - Secure card payment
Select your card type and input your details into the secure Worldpay payment page which looks like this:
Step 12 - Your renewal is complete
After successful payment a page similar to the below will be displayed.
You will receive a VAT invoice to your registered email address within 5 working days.
