The Audit

 Auditor Competence
The Audit Services Team comprises of health and safety professionals who have obtained technical qualifications and industry memberships.

These range from Masters Degrees in Safety through to NEBOSH General Certificate (our minimum technical requirement)  leading to Technical Member status with IOSH.

These qualifications are further backed up with practical experience gained from a wide range of industry sectors that include: engineering, construction, maintenance, and consultancy sectors or internally via the many specialist sectors within our parent company.

Audit Procedures
To ensure consistency of audit, the process is governed by three very detailed procedures. These are built around three audit types: Initial Audit, for new members; Renewal Audit for existing member after 12 months; and Additional Information Audits, which cover follow up audits after either Initial or Renewal Audits.

The procedures are reviewed regularly and updated as necessary. The extent of the details used in the procedures ensures accuracy and consistency and also allows internal quality monitoring to be measurable and consistent.
