Contractor members can find guides on conforming to to health and safety standards through SAFEcontractor's online guidance notes.

Access to the SAFEcontractor scheme through Giles Insurance Brokers Ltd, one of the UK's largest independent brokers.


Members are encouraged to contact Giles who have access to a range of insurers and can provide advice on any insurance related enquiry.

Free access to our 24-hour health and safety advice line.


Improved health and safety management
Keep up to date with health and safety legislation in our bi-monthly newsletter Safety Express written by ROSPA as well as emailed updates covering changes in legislation.


Free employment and commercial law advice
Obtain free legal advice on any employment issues, from dismissal to discrimination, contracts to confidentiality agreements. This will minimise the financial consequences of employment tribunals, saving £400 per hour for typical legal fees.


Special help for small businesses
We offer assistance to all businesses with less than 5 employees by providing examples of health and safety documentation and offering practical straightforward advice.
